Front Med (Lausanne). 2024 Jul 26;11:1412971. doi: 10.3389/fmed.2024.1412971. eCollection 2024.

Researchers from the Charité Competence Center for Traditional and Integrative Medicine (CCCTIM) of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin conducted a cluster-randomized controlled trial to scientifically evaluate the effects of the holistic Kneipp concept in kindergartens.
The study protocol, published in the journal Frontiers in Medicine, describes how the Kneipp elements (water treatments, exercise, nutrition, medicinal plants, and lifestyle) are intended to positively influence sick days and the overall health of kindergarten children. The findings from this study are intended to serve as a basis for evidence-based prevention strategies in early childhood education.
