Kneipp Worldwide e.V. is committed, as an international umbrella organization, to global health promotion and holistic prevention based on the naturopathic methods of Sebastian Kneipp. The foundation of this holistic health concept is formed by the five elements: water, exercise, nutrition, medicinal plants, and lifestyle regulation.
Kneipp therapy combines tradition with science, encourages a health-promoting lifestyle, supports individual health literacy, and advocates for sustainable, equitable healthcare in line with WHO goals.

International Kneipp Action Days (IKAT) / Kneippiade
More than 250 guests from all over the world attended the 14th International Kneipp Action Days (IKAT) in Lagundo near Merano/South Tyrol from April 10 to 13, 2025.
For the International Kneipp Action Days, South Tyrol showed its sunny side, providing an ideal backdrop for a diverse program with Kneipp treatments focusing on the five elements: water, exercise, nutrition, medicinal plants, and lifestyle. The culinary and social offerings also experienced a great rush. All guests, whether from near or far, were delighted by the opportunity to connect with other health-conscious people from around the world, network, and actively experience the Kneipp health concept in practice together.
New elections in the Presidential Council of Kneipp Worldwide
As part of the Kneippiade, the committee meetings of Kneipp Worldwide also took place. Erich Senn (Switzerland) was elected as the new president. The previous president, Mag. Georg Jillich (Austria), gladly handed over the office and remains with the team as vice president. Newly alongside him as second vice president is sports physician and Kneipp doctor Dr. Hans-Georg Eisenlauer (Germany). Vice President Ingeborg Pongratz, former member of the state parliament (Germany), and advisory board member Silvia Aebi (Switzerland) have left the presidential council as they did not stand for re-election after many years of dedication. They received great thanks for their services to Kneipp Worldwide. Newly represented in the advisory board are Dr. Regina Webersberger (Austria), president of the Kneipp doctors and president of the Austrian Society for Kneipp Medicine, Dr. Marlene Groitl (Germany), and Dr. Károly Garda (Hungary).
